These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our web application and related services (“Service”).
By accessing or using PedalPlex, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About the service

PedalPlex is a web application that allows users to explore, create, and manage virtual pedalboards, presets, and gear configurations for musical purposes.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using PedalPlex, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you may be required to create an account.
You agree to:

- Keep your login credentials secure

4. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create, upload, or share within the Service (“User Content”), including pedalboards and presets.
By submitting User Content, you grant PedalPlex a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

- Improve and operate the platform

You represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the necessary rights to your content
- Your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights

We reserve the right to remove or modify User Content at our sole discretion.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes
- Upload harmful, abusive, defamatory, or infringing content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service

6. Intellectual Property

All content and materials provided by PedalPlex (excluding User Content), including design, structure, and database organization, are protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit any part of the Service
- Scrape, extract, or reuse data from the platform without permission

7. Third-Party Brands and Content

The Service includes references to third-party brands such as Boss, Marshall, TC Electronic, Electro-Harmonix, Ibanez, and others.
All trademarks, product names, and images are the property of their respective owners.

PedalPlex:
- Is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by these brands
- Uses such references for identification and informational purposes only

PedalPlex does have agreements with some gear builders: agreed and approved gears are labeled with a "Verified" badge.

8. Third-Party Links and Affiliate Disclosure

The Service may include links to third-party websites.
We may participate in affiliate programs, meaning we may earn commissions from qualifying purchases made through these links.

We are not responsible for:
- Third-party content
- Availability of external sites
- Transactions made outside our platform

9. Service Availability

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

- Inaccuracies in the catalog
- Service interruptions or technical issues

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.
You may delete your account at any time.
Upon deletion, your data will be deleted or anonymized, except where retention is required by law.
